Trump to celebrate Memorial Day at Baltimore's Fort McHenry

Source: The Hill

President Trump will recognize Memorial Day at Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine in Baltimore, the White House confirmed Wednesday.

Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will participate in a ceremony at the site on Monday, according to a senior administration official.

“President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will again lead the American people in solemn remembrance of those brave American patriots who laid down their lives so we can live in the land of the free,” the official said in a statement.

Department of Defense Secretary Mark Esper, Department of the Interior Secretary David Bernhardt, and Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff Gen. Mark Milley are also expected to attend.

Wonder what new illhistoric details he will share in whatever speech he gives. Maybe he will give a shout out to the patriots of the Bowling Green Massacre while he's at it?

14. Arlington Cemetery to Stay Closed to Public for Memorial Day

It was not immediately clear whether the traditional wreath laying at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and an address by the president or a designate in the cemetery's amphitheater on Memorial Day, May 25, would be virtual.

but as I understand, they would have a wreath-laying but non-public.

Thing is, with all the "rah-rah" and "nothing is wrong", then the CoC should be the one to do the honors...
