Protests broke out near the White House Saturday, with demonstrators pushing down multiple security barricades and some clashing with police, according to multiple reports.

WTOP reporter Alejandro Alvarez shared video from the scene Saturday, showing protesters pushing against a crowd of police officers.

Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) shared video of the protest earlier Saturday, in which protesters can be heard chanting, “Hands up, don’t shoot!”

Protests have erupted nationwide over the death of George Floyd, a black man who died earlier this week in police custody after bystander video showed an officer kneeling on his neck.

then the gloves comes off, eh? He'll think he's unassailable then and thus really 'open up' w/ his crap. Maybe this is why there are so many instances being reported of those that are doing damage and trying to shift the blame for the damage to the protesters.

the Secret Service aren't to be fucked with, they have no sense of humor when it comes to the security of the president, no matter who it is and they are probably the best trained police force in the country if not the world.

I commend them for their restraint and professionalism last night, but there is a tipping point and I think it's just about there.

I don't think there's any amount of training that can stop actions from having consequences.

The White House is a hard target and the Marine Barracks is not that far away, if people should be stupid enough to storm the place deadly force would be authorized and the protesters would be mowed down while Trump and his family looked down from above.

Maybe I'm Naive but I don't think the marines would just mow Americans down. This is different This is our Department Of Justice. Not his. The people have literally had all they are going to take. Or 25 cities are gonna burn. I think it is just that simple. enough people need to lose enough money to tell Mitch it is over. They would jettison him in 10 minutes.

The White House would only have to hold out long enough for the military to bring in troops and air support, there will be plenty on stand by at this point. The military would probably protect Trump from people storming the White House because of the quality of people they are and because of the oath they swore. I don't think they would support him if he lost the election and failed to leave but they aren't going to let the White House be stormed.

of Dear Leader not leaving on Inauguration Day. I am really beginning to thing this could happen.

A couple million will need to go to DC and make sure he leaves. Yes, he will finally get the big Inauguration crowds he always wanted but it will be for Biden (I hope).

No way President Biden pardons the Orange assclown.

Resigning is the ONLY way he'll get a pardon and once again avoid any consequences for his actions.
