An audit of the Baltimore postal facility found that no ballots were delayed

A postal service facility in Baltimore, Maryland sat on 68,000 pieces of political mail for five days before the June 2 primary, according to an audit.

The audit by the Postal Service’s Office Inspector General (OIG), which was published Monday, was done for the purpose of evaluating, “the U.S. Postal Service’s readiness for timely processing of Election and Political Mail for the 2020 general elections.” Their findings found that the delayed mail sent on May 12 “sat unprocessed” before it came to the attention of management.

OIG did not specify which type of political mail went unattended but they were not ballots cast, of which 1.6M were sent. The June primary focused on mayor, comptroller, and city council president races. Many of those candidates sent out pamphlets meant to sway voters. Some have begun to connect the delay in processing the mail and their defeats.

Despite being an incumbent, Mayor Bernard C. “Jack” Young placed fifth in his Democratic race.

“That might the reason why I didn’t get a lot of votes,” Young said, as reported by the Baltimore Sun.

5. I just received my application via mail

to request a mail-in ballot (in Maryland). Made the request online and will take it to a drop off box at a designated location a couple miles up the road. Will make sure to take a a few of my elderly neighbors ballots with me.

Depending on the state, the drop off box is the key, if one doesn't trust the mail.

I did check, and it's OK in VA to deliver somebody's ballot, with their permission. That may not be true everywhere (e.g. NC).

But who's checked it all?

Congress needs to ensure that the post office is banned from accepting any bulk mail contracts for the end of September at the latest.

The machines that were removed, were mostly smashed, so that they can’t be reinstalled. Now we face the danger that trump friendly businesses like my pillow will try and overwhelm the remaining system by inundating the system with bulk mail, mail in coupons etc.

Anyone who’s been around for a while will remember how often Democrat election offices get jammed by telemarketers on Election Day. The republicans have no shame

The senate refuses to pass any house bills on fixing the post office. If we want our ballots counted, we’ll have to vote in person.

I am really worried about this.

The turd, and now Barr, have guaranteed that the election is going to be fraught with fraud. It has never been, before, but now it is a given.

Americans are going to be so confused as to the result (which is turd/barr's intent in its entirety) that the public can be convinced it IS fraudulent. The turd's supporters will NEVER accept the results unless it is a win for the turd. If he loses, they will then create such chaos that we are done as a democracy. You can stick a fork in the USofA.

CHAOS is Putin's goal, and turd/barr are delivering.

I have repeatedly suggested (not that anyone listens to MY suggestions, but surely campaign and congressional operatives read this board...) that legislation be passed requiring that any mail in vote submitted to the post office on or before election day be DATED FOR THAT DATE, and counted. Also make sure that ANYONE in line to vote at the time of a poll closing, be allowed to vote. Then let the entire populace know that no results will be released until ALL votes are checked for duplicates, and then counted.

That is simple legislation, and the American public would accept it and understand WHY it is being passed.

NOW, with the turd/barr's newest attempt to FORCE voter fraud by telling turd supporters to vote twice, EVERY POLL VOTE MUST BE COMPARED TO MAIL IN VOTES, and any fraudulent instance of DUPLICATE votes must result in the mail in vote be tossed. Since electronic votes are already in the tally and can NOT be singled out for removal, the mail in vote must be discarded.

FINALLY, make sure that ALL votes are secure and guarded by representatives from law enforcement AND representatives of both political parties.

Then WE have to be patient enough to let this work. But we can't even agree to be inconvenienced enough just to wear a mask.

Again, I am really getting worried. Congress has GOT to act. We can NOT throw our hands up and say it can't be done.

8. We must vote in person!

I was afraid this would happen. I don’t want my ballot getting lost in the mail. I’m voting early in person to make sure my ballot is counted.

500,000+ mail-in ballots were rejected during the primaries. Over 30,000 were in the battleground state of Pennsylvania. That’s more than enough to tip an election!
