Koch network launches campaign to confirm Trump Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett in Senate

Source: CNBC

The political advocacy group backed by billionaire Charles Koch is officially launching their campaign in support of President Donald Trump's latest nominee to the Supreme Court.

The Koch linked group, Americans for Prosperity (AFP), moved ahead with what will likely be an expansive and expensive campaign for the organization to help push Trump's nominee through the Senate. Trump on Saturday selected Judge Amy Coney Barrett to replace the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the Supreme Court.

Casey Mattox, the Vice President for Legal and Judicial Strategy at Americans for Prosperity, told CNBC that they plan to call on lawmakers to support Barrett's nomination, with the help of their large scale grassroots operation. They will initiate phone banking, push out direct mail and craft various digital ads that will try to convince senators to vote yes for Trump's nominee.

"A full scale campaign is now underway to mobilize our grassroots activists across the country to drive the confirmation of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the high court. We'll be lighting up senators' switchboards," Mattox said.

These people starve children by attacking SNAP, put children in cages, deprive schools for tax cuts, and ripped the lid off Covid and many elderly die. A death cult if ever there was one. Their brains short circuit because they aren't in control of a legal procure. I wouldn't doubt rich Republicans have affairs, as do their kids, which end in abortions-T-Wrecks certainly has.

But please proceed, AFP. Republican senators don’t need to be convinced, and I doubt there are any Democrats worth wasting their time on. This seems weird, when it’s already a foregone conclusion - or is it? 🤔

Makes me wonder if there are some previously unidentified repukes who are wavering.

The Kochs... the reason for the GOPs power. Using their wealth to warp our country into their diluted dream, not what the people want. How do we ruin them?

This is the saddest thing I've ever read...........They are all a bunch of vipers, and DJT and McConnell and the rest that support DJT. My son and I took a drive today and saw a few DJT signs. I do not understand how they can know how underhanded the Reps all are and still support them. They must all be Fox news watchers. I've seen enough about DJT that I wouldn't vote or him to be a dog-catcher!!! I don't get it. (My rant)
