Early voters cast record 92M ballots as Election Day nears

Source: Fox News

More than 92 million voters had already cast their ballots by Saturday, with just days three remaining before Election Day, according to reports.

The historic early-vote number was nearly 67% of the total votes cast in the 2016 presidential election, which totaled around 139 million, according to the nonpartisan U.S. Elections Project.

More voters have submitted their ballots by mail or participated in early in-person voting this year because of the coronavirus pandemic. Several states have amended laws to allow for expanded mail-in voting.

Around 58 million Americans have voted using mail-in ballots and another 33 million voters cast their ballots early in-person.

I'm generally not inclined to use anything from Fox News but this article is pretty straight forward.

In Wisconsin voters do not register a party affiliation, nor can they.
Every voter in WIsconsin is considered an independent, as they can vote for r or D's on any ballot.
They get a vote at every office, even if only one person is running. Every office has a write-in option.

Early voting is way up in Wisc, but we won't know accurately until after the votes are counted as to who won. We will also not know
how many early votes went for either candidate. All ballots are counted and totaled into the whole result.

We do not have voter affiliation data and never have. Are they exit polling early voters? I doubt it is accurate if they are. One can make assumptions by the county someone votes in but in this 2020 election this will be very iffy.
