With about 14% of the population of the US, Spain reported 1,623 new deaths today. For comparison, that would be like more than 11,500 daily deaths here. It is going to get a lot worse here before it gets better.

on things like masks and an organized distribution of an approved vaccine. Oh, and listening to doctors and scientists instead of crackpot preachers and a bunch of boot lickers.

My original "oh shit, this is going to be bad" prediction was for 1.1-2.5 million deaths, based on our broken health system, our fragmented response, and dumbassery in the Executive and the Senate.
