Alaska Rep. Don Young said Thursday that he has tested positive for COVID-19.
Young, who turned 87 in June, this week was declared the winner of his latest bid for reelection by several national media outlets. He’s a 47-year veteran of Congress and the oldest member of either chamber. He is Alaska’s lone U.S. House member.
