New York's attorney general says the state will sue Donald Trump if he tries to prevent it receiving

Source: Independent

New York’s attorney general says the state will sue Donald Trump if he tries to prevent it receiving the “life-saving” Covid vaccine.

The outgoing president announced that his administration would not deliver the drug to New York when it becomes available next year.

Mr Trump said during a press conference in the White House’s Rose Garden that governor Andrew Cuomo “will have to let us know when he’s ready for it because otherwise, we can’t be delivering it to a state that won’t be giving it to its people immediately.”

The president made the claim as he spoke for the first time publicly in the wake of his defeat to Joe Biden.

I guess Trump is still pulling his red state blue state BS. How pathetic that possibly life saving vaccines will be sent to you depending on where you live in this country. On a second note, I wonder how New York Republicans feel that they would not get the vaccine in a Donald Trump world.

Just seems so low down and dirty.

But what is relevant is that he would even try. It just seems so wrong.

That didn't happen and neither will this vaccine be free because this company was not part of the government plan.

the vaccines actually get distributed.

If the EUA has something available by the end of the year, it will mostly be for medical personal. If things go well for the general public it will really start in the first quarter of next year

I would not believe anything that trump or his administration says, basing that on the fact that he has lied his way through this whole pandemic, from the PPEs to everything else

While Pfizer wasn't didn't receive any subsidies from the government, their vaccine will be part of the distribution by the government

The distribution will NOT be up to trump. The sooner he disappears from the scene the better. The constant lies and misrepresentation has hurt millions

He is already responsible for the mass murder of 250,000 Americans, and all the deaths in other countries which had relied on U.S. medical and scientific failsafes. Which he dismantled. When this plague event is listed in history as a mass murder, I hope the credit goes to putin and impeached traitor is left unmentioned.

That Iskanka and JarJar are moving back to New York? With their three children (his grandkids). Or is he going to load them up with hydroxychloroquine, UV-light suppositories and injectible bleach?

I could see him ditching Junior, Eric, Tiffany and other immediate family members, but not his own little Lolita.

on efficacy of the vaccine. We've heard nothing on safety.

We need group of independent scientists and doctors to review the Pfizer trial results to validate what Pfizer has reported.

Don't get me wrong, I want vaccine just as much as anyone, but I want it to be safe for everyone.

BTW, one of the doctors that is on the Biden Coronavirus task force was on MSNBC today. She said the first trance of the vaccine with be about 25 million doses. But, this vaccine requires two doses, so that means treatment for about 12.5 million folks. First folks to be treated will be medical folks and first responders and high risk folks.

(assuming nothing goes awry) according to Pfizer. By then they will have enough people inoculated for a sufficient period of time.

It would be brilliant if we could get even 12.5 million inoculated this year.
