GOP Senate candidate John James asks Board of State Canvassers to delay certification
Source: Detroit Free Press
LANSING John James, the Republican candidate for a U.S. Senate in the Nov. 3 election, asked the Board of State Canvassers Friday to delay its certification of Michigan's statewide election results.
The four-member board, composed of two Republicans and two Democrats, is scheduled to meet Monday to certify the results, amid ongoing efforts by Republican Donald Trump to overturn results that show Democratic President-Elect Joe Biden defeating him in Michigan by about 154,000 votes.
Trump has made unsubstantiated allegations of election irregularities in Detroit and elsewhere. The alleged irregularities would not come close to overturning the result, even if proven true, and have been rejected by several state courts.
In a letter to the board, James asked for a two-week delay "to fully audit the election results."

What happened to "you lost, get over it"?

(3,695 posts)How stupid do you have to be to think you've found massive fraud only to learn the cities you cite as having irregular totals in Michigan are actually in Minnesota.

(25,111 posts)"The Elite strike force team" couldn't distinguish between MN and MI. That alone should disqualify this notion of "fraud and irregularitries" bullshit.
And the topper I must say is "Hugo Chavez".

(43,091 posts)from the minute he won in 2018 Jones in AL) was the only Dem before election day who was in a remotely cose race race according to the polls. It ended up far closer than that.
I had Peters winning easily, as I assumed (incorrectly) the racist MAGAts would not vote for a black man in numbers sufficient enough to even make it close. James actually had a smaller losing margin than Rump, by 60,000 votes or so.

(46,020 posts)Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-9) is a six-term incumbent and was challenged by a loud-mouthed BLEXIT AA Republican who taunted him with baseless rhetoric. While Pascrell won the Election, the Republican got about 30% of the vote, which is way too high for our district. And to boot, this guy is going around to post-election rallies and appearing on RW radio as he's contracted the attention-seeking bug. (He's 23, no college, and no experience in politics.)

A 23 year old is not old enough to be sworn in.
Youngest possible candidate in 2020 for House could have born January 4, 1996 (as you legally turn your age the day before your birthday and you must be 25 on January 3rd, 2021)
