Here's what Texas Republicans were busy doing after Democrats fled the state in order to stop their voter suppression bill from becoming law.

Among the figures whose works would be dropped: Susan B. Anthony, Cesar Chavez, and Martin Luther King Jr., whose “I Have a Dream"speech and “Letter from a Birmingham Jail” would no longer make the curriculum cut.
The bill is stalled, along with their voter suppression bill, because Democrats have denied them a quorum while they're out of the state.

It would remove more than two dozen teaching requirements from a new law (H.B 3979) that bars the teaching of critical race theory, an academic framework exploring racism’s shaping of the country.
That law included a list of historic figures, events and documents required for inclusion in social studies classes. The Senate-passed bill would remove most mentions of people of color and women from those requirements, along with a requirement that students be taught about the history of white supremacy and “the ways in which it is morally wrong.”
The measure also would bar the teaching of the 1619 Project— a New York Times initiative exploring U.S. history starting at the date enslaved people arrived in the English colonies.

that the white nationalists, even though women were well represented in Washington D.C. Jan 6th, 2021, that the white nationalist-Christofascists, sexist, racist male scourge that d. trump unleashed on America would leave them alone? The ability of human beings to follow dangerous demagogues is amazing to me. Yet history is replete with examples that ended up with millions dead. The former POTUS got his ball rolling with 600,000 dead and that number is growing every single day.
The unvaccinated in all races and cultures in this country, who follow the former president's advice, are the only ones responsible for this latest upsurge in cases of this mutated virus called the latest variant of Covid.
The many places I have to shop show the total ignorance of Americans. In some places almost all are masked. In other large box stores, almost all are unmasked. Vaccinated or not masks stop the spread. I remember reading reports during the height of the pandemic how with mask-wearing even the common flu rates among us Americans were way down because of mask-wearing.

The current 'great' leader of the Amerikan Fascist Party IS responsible for trying to mislead us all. He, Stephen Miller, and his other 'advisors' were trying to get us so afraid that we would accept his overturning the election as one outcome of his great fear campaign. IT IS ALL connected. None of them has a conscience nor cares about their followers past how many could they get to believe "The Big Lie"? Hitler, Putin, the leader of N. Korea are all admired by the leader of the Fascist Party of Amerika. And he took lessons out of every one of their playbooks. 
Just like climate change, if at all possible at this late stage of human greed and ignorance, we hopefully will wake up to the extreme danger posed by Amerikan fascists and climate change. If humanly possible, I hope we can stop the destruction of our planet and the degradation of our form of democracy by racist cons leading a fascist, racist, sexist white nationalist rabble intent on putting women back in the kitchen and the pesky uppity African-American back into the proverbial 'cotton fields'. And if any AA still believes in the former potus. Ask Herman Cain how that worked out. Ooops I forgot you can't. And where in the hell is Dirtbag Dr. Carson? He has dropped off the radar. Enjoying that money gained from trump, maybe?
And only rich white large landholding males are the only ones who will be able to vote in the sham elections of the paradise wanted by the white fascists of this country.
