Trump Lashes Out at House Oversight, Says Donoghue Note Shows HE Was Protecting Vote from THEM

Source: Mediaite

By Caleb Howe Jul 31st, 2021, 12:17 pm

The House Oversight and Reform Committee has obtained handwritten notes from former acting AG Richard Donoghue that indicated ex-president Donald Trump was pressuring the DOJ to say the 2020 election was corrupt, it was reported on Friday.

Oversight Chairwoman Rep. Carolyn Maloney says the Committee is investigating, and that the notes show that Trump “directly instructed our nation’s top law enforcement agency to take steps to overturn a free and fair election in the final days of his presidency.”

Trump has now released his own relatively brief statement claiming that, actually, the notes prove he was trying to protect the election and they are the ones who were glue.

“The corrupt and highly partisan House Democrats who run the House Oversight Committee yesterday released documents—including court filings dealing with the rigged election of 2020—that they dishonestly described as attempting to overturn the election,” the statement sent by email on Saturday begins.

But seriously. In order to get out of this lie=truth, never-ending loop of stupidity, heads will need to roll. Are we going to have to rehash the civil war? Probably! If so, this time make the deal cut at to Appomattox Court House lethal for the leaders.

The Gym Jordans and Donald Trumps are thumbing their noses at the rule of law and general civility. They've clearly betrayed their oaths of office yet flaunt their crimes with no apparent fear of being held responsible. They do so because they actually think there will be no repercussions from the side that mistrusts the proliferation of military-style weapon and open carry gun ownership or the death penalty or extortionist military funding. Are they betting correctly?

Will people get to vote for someone who wants to actually prosecute this treason? Will Democrats redefine themselves in the eyes of the general public and run candidates who campaign on such commitments? Will we even ever hear such language from progressive candidates? I hear snarking sense an obvious lack of patience from our currently elected. But I'm sure that vague comments about allowing the legal system to carve out some unspoken definition of justice are NOT going to deter these consummate grifters in office. Nor do I think a few weeks in jail for a handful of the worst insurrectionists will cause those most invested to rethink their plans.

....we spotted a dead walrus floating in the distance, seabirds landing on it and pecking away at the carcass. We got a choker around it and lifted it up alongside the boat with a crane. We worked for an hour or more cutting it's head off to salvage the tusks. The stink that came off that dead animal was absolutely amazing. We had to take turns at it as you could not stand being close to it for very long. The boat stunk for days afterward, even with the head inside three heavy garbage bags, buried in rock salt in a plastic trash can with the lid sealed up with duct tape. Threw away the rubber gloves and a wood handled knife that could not be cleaned so it it did not still stink.

Please don't tell me about endangered species or wildlife protection. This was all done with documentation and clearance from the Alaskan Department of Wildlife.

Following is from the notes of the acting DAG of a phone call between him, others and Trump on December 27, 2020.
"Just say that the election was corrupt + leave the rest to me and the R. Congressmen."

You don't have to prove it, just say it - "the election was corrupt". Once you get the big lie rolling then Trump says he and R Congressmen would take care of the rest. The rest was a riot with light security that would intimidate the R Congressmen into voting to overturn the election in exchange for the riot ending. Trump gave the rioters hours to get the job done but when the riot failed in its objective Trump finally called if off. What we have here is game, set, match. The Republican Senate of then looks terribly foolish for not calling witnesses in the 2nd impeachment because these notes would have become part of the record. McConnell needs to pay a price for his corruption.

How in the world can he twist those words into him being the good guy trying to restore the integrity of the 2020 election. At another point Trump blasted those on the phone for not following the internet closely like he does because if they did they would know what he knows.. Earth to Trump, the internet tells you what you want to hear. If you want to hear that the election was corrupt just go to the internet as there is no shortage of material saying that - the only problem is that none of it is based on fact. I realized yesterday, that of course traitir and his base think he should still be in the White House. He lost the elction in 2016 by over 3 million votes. Yet, he was still installed in the White House. He lost the 2020 election by more than 7 million votes. But traitor and his base think he won 2016. Why wouldn't they think he won 2020? The U.S. set a really bad example allowing traitor to be installed.

The only other person to become president even though losing the popular vote was Rutherford B. Hayes. He pledged not to run for a 2nd term. He didn't win the popular vote, but he made a good compromise for his country.
