Parent assaults teacher over mask dispute at Amador County school, superintendent says

Source: KCRA news NBC, Sacramento CA

SUTTER CREEK, Calif. —
A Sutter Creek elementary school teacher was allegedly assaulted by a parent during an argument over their child having to wear a mask.

The incident happened Wednesday at Sutter Creek Elementary in the Amador County town after school during student pick-up.

According to Torie Gibson, superintendent of the Amador County Unified School District, a parent upset about their child having to wear a mask began verbally assaulting the principal. When a male teacher stepped in the situation escalated and a physical altercation happened, resulting in injuries.

The teacher was treated at the hospital and released Wednesday night and a report was filed with authorities, according to Gibson.

Selfish idiot parents don't even think about their own child's feelings and wellbeing and health...but instead use the child as a means to promote their own selfish moronic behavior.

There's a sparsely populated red streak from Sac to the Oregon border, excluding the coastal counties.

...nextdoor, and it's pretty similar in demographics. Many of the more rural, eastern counties are like that. Those that want the north part of the state to become the conservative paradise of Jefferson, and those that do this sort of thing are just about the same people.

...just a bunch of kitchky Bigfoot kooks. Now county governments in Siskiyou, Modoc, Glenn, Yuba, Tehama and Sutter have all adopted resolutions on the theme of withdrawing from the State of California. Lake and Lassen county supervisors have submitted similar questions about dissolution to their voters.

Outside of that specific effort, if you really want to know just how bad nearly all of the North State has become, check out anewscafe.com - they've been doing an amazing job of documenting how Bethel, Constitutional Sheriffs & Peace Officers Association law enforcement and a self-made mobster named Carlos Zapata have made the North State.

...I became a Christian in Bethel a couple decades ago, but I had no idea it had radicallized like that. My sister was highly involved in their worship program, and kept ties with them via their website after moving to Oregon.

I guess I don't have to wonder anymore how or why she's been becoming radicalized. She may not identify as a magat yet, but she and all my sisters are trending in that direction.

Fresno & Fresno county on the other hand has shifted quite a bit to the left in the last few years. It's now considered a Blue county both in policies and votes.

Of their actions. They get arrested. The video of them being total assholes goes viral. They lose their jobs. They have to hire lawyers.

Is it really worth it? If they really thought about it they would probably just walk away.

They've been protected in their privileged bubble too long and now they're raging because that's what they have been fed for the past 5 years (decades, actually. but more ramped up in the last 5 years).

Her school has been masked since they came back from online learning last school year and she has no problems at all with her second graders keeping their masks on all day. It's just sickening that parents turn this into a huge fucking deal..... but then again magats will be magats.

1. If the mask covers your eyes while you're walking, driving. or using a razor.

2. If the device is an oxygen mask used at a flow rate of less than six litres per minute.
These particular masks must, of course, be impermeable to gases.
Otherwise they'd be like dribble glasses for getting drunk, or intravenous lines with drain holes:
Useless.
Consequently if insufficient oxygen (O2) is delivered, in theory, excess "bad air" (CO2) could be retained around the patient's mouth and nose, causing them to rebreathe excess CO2.
Unfortunately some nurses aren't aware of this standard, and will simply turn down the O2 as the patient requires less, rather than switch to a nasal cannula.
HOWEVER while the low O2 flow to a mask poses theoretical risk, it's worth noting that in none of the cases I've encountered did the patient show signs of excess CO2 levels or oxygen insufficiency.
As CO2 diffuses at a rate 20 times greater than O2, that finding hardly surprises.

3. "But didn't T.V. Airhead report a study..." STOP RIGHT THERE!
What should be questions of science and public health have become articles of faith for political propagandists who pick up an obviously defective report and trumpet it without seeking comment from anyone who would let facts get in the way of a bad story.
The bogus report by an unqualified framer will be retracted by whoever printed it, but the retraction won't be mentioned by Mr. Airhead.
The harm to public mental health is done by a cynical liar about masks, and cowardly governors of Texas and Florida do their damnedest to infect as many kids as they can.

4. If masks actually did harm, by CO2 retention or anything else, my experience would have turned it up. Not infrequently when air quality's less than good I'll quick march (120 paces per minute) a mile to the city limits, where concrete ends and jogging can begin, wearing an N95 mask.
Nada.
Air molecules simply aren't large enough to be trapped or excluded by personal protective masks . Larger particles, including viral ones, are.
The next variant of the Covid 19 agent will arrive many days before it's identified, many more still before it's announced. That's why I'll continue wearing masks around others in common areas
