Unvaccinated COVID-19 patients are creating a ‘deeply frustrating’ situation at Washington state hospitals

People not vaccinated against the coronavirus are getting sick, filling Washington state hospital beds and putting pressure on hospitals and their staff, doctors said at a news briefing Thursday.

Hospitalizations from COVID-19 are the highest they’ve ever been, said Washington State Hospital Association CEO Cassie Sauer.

Sauer said there were about 1,100 people hospitalized statewide during the peak in December. On Thursday morning, she said, there were 1,240.

1. It's just so WEIRD, nobody could've ever predicted this would happen as a result

of large numbers of people deciding to act like complete f***ing idiots in the face a deadly pandemic.

6. Sadly that was one of the predictions in the pandemic planning that TFG threw out.

What was in the report was how to present the problem so as to AVOID creating this reaction among the public. It was noted that during the Spanish Flu a great number of doubters had also resisted vaccination which caused problems in getting it under control.

They didn't have Twitler and Faux Gnus steering them away from reality but the yellow journalism of the period did a fair job generating unrealistic alarm. It seems that lurid headlines sold a lot of papers in that day.

Then when they get sick, they demand to be taken care of.
I have reached the point (a while ago) where I agree with (that rat ass) Pres Duerte of the Philippines when he announced that if there weren't enough hospital beds and one is being occupied by someone who refused to get vaccinated, they get dumped out on the street. And if you refused to get vaxed and there were no beds, they'd send you away
I've seen a couple of stories out of Australia where the numbers of Vaxxed did go up

Nurses and doctors are getting FRIED by long hours taking care of people who couldn't be arsed to take care of themselves.

That takes a toll, especially when you're watching people your age die from it. It's worse when you're watching their kids.
