GOP Leader Who Fought Against Vaccine Dies After Weeks-Long Battle With Coronavirus

Pressley Stutts, a Republican leader in South Carolina, shared conspiracy theories from his ICU bed.

Pressley Stutts, a Republican leader in South Carolina who fought COVID-19 vaccination efforts, died on Thursday of the coronavirus after a weekslong battle, including six days spent on a ventilator, The Greenville News reported.

Stutts, a 64-year-old veteran, frequently shared conspiracy theories about the virus, the vaccines and the 2020 election on Facebook, including in posts made from his ICU bed.

.....................

Stutts also praised a state effort to strip funding from schools that imposed mask mandates or testing requirements, and was angry about $10 gift card incentives for vaccination, writing to his 5,000 followers: “Do not sell your body nor your soul no matter the asking price.”

In July, Stutts shared a Facebook post dismissing the delta variant, which was likely the one that ended his life.

On Aug. 1 ― the day he went into the ICU ― Stutts insisted he had “always contended that COVID was very real” and called it “a deadly bio-weapon perpetrated upon the people of the world by enemies foreign, and perhaps domestic.”......................................................

That is their latest talking point.

For shits and giggles, I looked at Steve King's twitter account after reading a couple LBN OPs yesterday and he was pushing that nonsense calling it "biological warfare".

We already have a shortage of workers in this country. What good is advanced by wiping out thousands more people? The only thing "logical" about that is the word "biological".

Maybe they think that there are just too many people in the world, and the herd has to be culled so that everyone left can have food, land, etc. If that were the case, I think they/we would have been able to concoct a much more lethal weapon that would not cause such disruption in damn near every sector of the economy.

What bothers me as much as anything is that it seems like every single market in this country, no matter how small, has a right-wing asshole on the radio, infecting the minds of their listeners.

and "own the libs". It's done for a specific narrow purpose without any thought process as to ramifications or even possibility. It's like their calling Democrats "Commie Nazi Socialist fascists". It's literally meaningless gibberish.

Alternately some of it could be from those who believed in Raygun's "survival of the fittest" and truly believe THEY are the "fittest".

I purposely didn't post it but here it is to illustrate -

Out in the south Texas town of La Joya, a restaurant manager recently called the police about a maskless family that was coughing and sneezing so much that other patrons were leaving.

And the GOP sits silently by while their followers spew this sort of nonsense that continues to self-destruct their party.

so that our precious oxygen is not wasted on his useless carcass during the rotting decomposition process, including the short stint as maggot infested worm food, before ending up as dried dusty worm poop blowing in the wind as that republican turd should.

Not only is the body oxidized in it, but you burn gas to do it. Worm food would be a small environmental gain, but unfortunately many bury coffins with metal fittings on them, and dodgy chemicals may be used to 'preserve' the body.

Him and that couple in Maine, he was sick, she died. It's not just they spread the likes far and wide and then probably spread the disease before they got treatment for it, but it took up so much of the medical resources available. He was on a respirator in the ICU for like a month, I think ditto for the GOP woman in May. Exhausting those medical professionals for what. The guy in Maine is out walking about maskless at some rally or something. I'm sick of it.
