'Curse Him': Trump Attacks GOP Senator Bill Cassidy for Doubting His Ability to Win 2024

Source: Newsweek

BY TORIA BARNHART ON 10/18/21 AT 10:51 PM EDT

A Republican senator, who voted to convict former President Donald Trump on an impeachment charge of inciting an insurrection, was criticized by Trump for questioning whether he could win the 2024 GOP nomination.

During an Axios interview released Sunday, Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy said that he would not vote for Trump in the next presidential election, noting that the former president lost the House, the Senate and the presidency in four years.

"Elections are about winning," Cassidy added.

In a statement released Monday evening, Trump said, "Wacky Senator Bill Cassidy from Louisiana is a RINO Republican who begged for my endorsement in 2020 and used it all over the place to win re-election, much like Little Ben Sasse, and then voted to impeach your favorite President."

5. Rick Wilson is begging Dems to drive wedges between Repugs instead of touting infrastructure.

Rick thinks Dems are on wrong track politically. Need to be all in on anti-Trump, prosecute, fight, make Trump central figure, use him to drive wedges and pick off voters. He is convinced just passing the Build Back Better plans and running off that will not move the needle in 2022, but using Trump to motivate and wedge voters will.

In my political naivete I think we need to go after repubs every way we can...attack, attack, attack, somehow get the truth out there about all of them and the great danger they pose to democracy in america, and the world..

Usually a Republican tool, but trying to brand himself as anti-Trump, likely for a run at governor. It’s an office currently held by an effective and respected Democrat—John Bel Edwards—an honored veteran willing to agree with legislature Republicans sometimes, but veto their wacky legislation as needed.

I guess the enemy of my enemy is my friend?

... Crooked Donald reveals himself as a DEMON! Fortunately, his Satanic powers are weak - or he'd still be President.

for lobbyists' agendas that comprise the sauce made into legislation.

I know they have a wide range of knowledge about most things, but I doubt their judgment in practical terms, and in the future impact of their actions. I just think "we'll fix it down the road" is a social experiment no one asked for except lobbyists.

10. Wait, is Trump confusing Ben Sasse and Bob Corker?

Or are "Little" and "Liddle" two completely different insults in his mind?

Maybe enough time has gone by since "Liddle Bob Corker" that he's economically recycling it. Or he's completely forgotten about it.

I don't think he bothers to keep track of his insults. Except maybe certain key ones like "Crooked Hillary."

Interesting that he's tagged a number of different people with the "Little" moniker, though. Since so many (all?) of his insults seem to be based on projection, could it be he has a height fixation? It might explain those lifts in his shoes...

Trump doesn’t function at the level of a 3rd grade bully, he functions at the level of a LAZY 3rd grade bully.
