State trooper who told governor to 'kiss my ass' over vaccine order dies of Covid

Source: Yahoo News

A state trooper who left his job over a vaccine mandate, telling Washington state governor Jay Inslee to "kiss my ass", has died of Covid.

Robert LeMay, 51, was fired in October over his refusal to get the jab and filmed a video of himself hitting out at Mr Inslee.

In the video he says: "This is my final sign-off. After 22 years of serving the citizens of the state of Washington, I'm being asked to leave because I am dirty.

"This is the last time you'll hear me in a state patrol car. And Jay Inslee can kiss my ass."

he was immune, etc. to COVID, and the ramifications of catching it. I daresay that he refused to believe that he caught it (COVID) too, and thus, contributed to his own demise even further. I wonder when the state pays so much for training these officers, etc., that (1) don't these officers realize that the state does have a vested interest in protecting its investments in the officers (IMHO, YES).

The world is full of very sad, with vast numbers of humans suffering unfairly. That's where my heart is. But, lets not conflate someone who got exactly what they deserved with those who suffer through no fault of their own, thank you very damn much. Add the fact that by NOT being vaxed, NOT taking precautions and NOT taking the pandemic seriously he potentially risked the lives of everyone he came in contact with. Fuck him. Fuck him sideways. You want to boo hoo about it, fine. I think I'll dance.

even trying. I recall in the early days of this pandemic trying to talking with some--even close relatives--but I hit a rock wall. It is not worth getting my BP up even trying anymore. I try my best to keep safe--wearing masks (WI has had a high rate of infection last month or so--coming down somewhat now). I feel my freedom to move about freely is severely compromised.
Also I care for my very elderly mom--and constantly fear of bringing something home to her. To die of covid at her age would be horrible--horrible for anyone.

But agree they don’t deserve one iota of sympathy. The filth they are spreading around is killing others, some of whom don’t have the choice they were given. The only real value they have is as an example of how not to die of terminal stupidity, but even that doesn’t seem to have an effect on the creme-de-la-dum.

This guy, lost his anti-Vax sister to COVID and was back to tweeting anti-vax bullshit two days later only to die himself 2 months later. These people aren’t dying of COVID, they are just all ate up with the dumass and there’s no cure.

You and I think alike! -- Long ago I stopped caring about the antivaxxers… now I also have ZERO pity for their families.

Clearly these willing victims and martyrs do not care for themselves or for their loved ones... so why should I waste my emotions on them? Fuck 'em all.

Allow me to paraphrase Barbara Bush: They're not relevant. So why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that?

...The price can be large, like this man's life. Or even much larger..a million times larger....like Stalin believing Hitler
would not invade,
even though Russian spies saw the German's getting ready for invasion.. They told Stalin ahead of
time something was going on, that it looked like an invasion, but Stalin.. believed Hitler would not go against his word: NOT TO INVADE!...(a Non Invasion Pact signed earlier, by Germany & Soviet Union).

It's like drinking the poison Kool Aid when your leader tells you. It's suicidal.

And this rediculus behavior has spread to the Supreme Court. You have a right to die from COVID and spread it to as many people as you can. It's like they are under mind control.

But yeah these people are trying to kill themselves. They know they might be spared but they also know they can die from lack of vaccination. It's like playing Russian roulette.

I have no sympathy or empathy for those who, despite a safe and effective vaccine, would spread a deadly disease without care or concern for their families or community. The un-vaxed who contract COVID should stay home and suffer the consequences of their decision.

A storm descends on a small town, and the downpour soon turns into a flood. As the waters rise, the local preacher kneels in prayer on the church porch, surrounded by water. By and by, one of the townsfolk comes up the street in a canoe.
"Better get in, Preacher. The waters are rising fast."
"No," says the preacher. "I have faith in the Lord. He will save me."
Still the waters rise. Now the preacher is up on the balcony, wringing his hands in supplication, when another guy zips up in a motorboat.
"Come on, Preacher. We need to get you out of here. The levee's gonna break any minute."
Once again, the preacher is unmoved. "I shall remain. The Lord will see me through."
After a while the levee breaks, and the flood rushes over the church until only the steeple remains above water. The preacher is up there, clinging to the cross, when a helicopter descends out of the clouds, and a state trooper calls down to him through a megaphone.
"Grab the ladder, Preacher. This is your last chance."
Once again, the preacher insists the Lord will deliver him.
And, predictably, he drowns.
A pious man, the preacher goes to heaven. After a while he gets an interview with God, and he asks the Almighty, "Lord, I had unwavering faith in you. Why didn't you deliver me from that flood?"
God shakes his head. "What did you want from me? I sent you two boats and a helicopter."
