Report: Rick Perry To Endorse Newt Gingrich

Rick Perry will drop out of the presidential race and will endorse Newt Gingrich, Politico reports, at an 11am conference.

This is great news for Newt Gingrich, who is closing the gap between himself and Mitt Romney leading up to the South Carolina primary and having Perry’s support will put momentum — and more votes — behind his candidacy.
