Amazon fires 2 union organizers tied to first U.S. labor win

Amazon has fired two employees with ties to the grassroots union that led the first successful U.S. organizing effort in the retail giant’s history.

The company confirmed Tuesday that it fired Michal, or ‘Mat,’ Cusick and Tristan Dutchin of the Amazon Labor Union on Staten Island, New York. But it claims the “cases are unrelated to each other and unrelated to whether these individuals support any particular cause or group.”

I smell horse crap. It's easy to trump up a charge to fire someone. It's called targeting.

Sue their asses, then make them prove it wasn't because of unionizing. Jeff Bezos is blazing psychopath.

PATCO was trashed overnight........I remember Commercial airline pilots telling me that they were scared to death to go up in the air. They were having to search the sky around them constantly from the time they took off, until the time they landed the plane.. They said there were lengthy delays because instead of landings three minutes apart, the overworked ATC were spacing them 10-15 minutes apart to avoid collisions. One that I talked to said that when the pilot announced to the passengers that they would NOT be landing on time, they had to say there is a ATC problem......That they were forbidden from saying the actual words Air Traffic Controllers so the public couldn't blame Reagan and the Republicans for how dangerous the skies were over America.

Suddenly, overnight every Corporation in America knew that it was open season on Unions, HWBush/Cheney would not allow the NLRB to have anywhere near the power they were formerly using to assist Unions and maintain an even playing field.......
