Anonymous attacks DOJ site after feds shut down piracy hub Megaupload
http://money.cnn.com/2012/01/19/technology/megaupload_shutdown/NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- In one of the U.S. government's largest anti-piracy crackdowns ever, federal agents on Thursday arrested the leaders of and shut down Megaupload.com, a popular hub for illegal file sharing.
Hours later, Megaupload's fans turned the table on the feds. "Hacktivist" collective Anonymous set its sights on the U.S. Department of Justice and apparently knocked the agency's website offline.

(62,325 posts)I wonder if we the people were rich enough to buy Congress, could we stop the wars, get Banksters prosecuted and war criminals tried for treason? Some crimes are more 'criminal' than others it seems.
Crashing the economy using criminal tactics not so important.
Lying to get this country into war not worthy of even an investigation.
Torturing detainees, some to death, no interest on the part of the US Government.
But, interfere with the profits of mega Corps and suddenly the Rule of Law is resurrected.
Good for Anonymous, at least someone is looking out for the little people.
