Marjorie Taylor Greene aims to be Trump's VP pick in 2024
Source: nbc
"She sees herself on the short list for Trump's VP," said former Trump aide Steve Bannon, who has spoken with Greene. Jan. 25, 2023, 8:00 AM CST / Updated Jan. 25, 2023, 10:50 AM CST WASHINGTON — Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., is angling to be Donald Trump's running mate in 2024, according to two people who have spoken to the firebrand second-term congresswoman about her ambitions. "This is no shrinking violet, she's ambitious — she's not shy about that, nor should she be," said Steve Bannon, the former top Trump aide who hosts the War Room podcast, where Greene has been a guest. "She sees herself on the short list for Trump's VP. Paraphrasing Cokie Roberts, when MTG looks in the mirror she sees a potential president smiling back," he added, referencing Roberts, the late political reporter who worked for NPR, ABC News and other outlets. ........ It also helps explain why she threw herself into helping elect Rep. Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., speaker of the House after the midterm elections and took assignments on two committees — Homeland Security and Oversight and Accountability — where she can participate in high-profile investigations of President Joe Biden's administration. McCarthy also tapped her to be part of the panel investigating how the government handled the COVID-19 pandemic....................................... 6. "Hitch your wagon to a dying horse." 14th Amendment Section 3 Covers both TFG and MTG
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

She could do so much more damage than Trump and it would be intentional on her part, not just the result of reckless, impulsive behavior.
That said, I don't think Trump would settle for someone who would take the spotlight off him much of the time. He prefers shrinking violets that he can dominate and upstage. |

45. Can you imagine a DeSantis/MTG ticket?
Yes MTG is much more dangerous than Trump. And paired with someone
like DeSantis we are crossing into pure evil territory. If you recall over the summer MTG was fawning in public about Trump and including Melania in the nauseating adoration. It appeared to me then that Melania was not a MTG fan and had said so to Trump. Usually Trump minions do not kiss Melania's a** like MTG was doing. Or perhaps there had been some MTG and Trump hanky panky and MTG was trying to cover it up. At any rate, I figured it was curtains for MTG's dream of the VP spot. At any rate MTG was really working Trump. But I agree with you 100% Trump most likely would not go for MTG. She is not his type, he likes women to look a certain way. And she is too strong, too attention seeking. Yes he will look for a female Pence. |

I agree, I cannot see Melania liking Margie at all. A little too trashy, loud, and tacky for Melania's taste. Ha, ha, of course Melania chose Donald Trump for a husband, so doesn't get much trashier than that! |
