Former White House candidate Bachmann to seek Congress

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/sns-rt-us-campaign-bachmanntre80o1wh-20120125,0,1211881.story

MINNEAPOLIS (Reuters) - U.S. Representative Michele Bachmann, who three weeks ago ended her campaign for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination, said she will seek reelection to a fourth term in Congress, a spokeswoman said on Wednesday.

Bachmann, 55, was first elected to the 6th Congressional District in Minnesota in 2006. Once a Tea Party favorite, the Iowa-born Bachmann withdrew from the presidential race a day after receiving just 5 percent of the vote in the Iowa nominating caucuses.

Bachmann Press Secretary Becky Rogness confirmed that Bachmann had said she would seek a fourth term in Congress during an interview with the Associated Press.

Tarryl Clark moved to another district. Bachmann's 6th is being redrawn, may be more Democratic than before. We will know more next month.

Everyone knew last election how crazy she was and as I recall she won easily. She'll get a lot of money from outside her district.

I thought we were through with the runaway batshit bride of buffoonery!

Sadly, the only hothouse that flower can survive in, is her own gerrymandered/rigged/loony guano district.

I would hope that the D's congressional campaign committee would target her race as one to really pour the $'s into to knock her out of Congress entirely.

Then we can say "good riddance" to her once and for all.

After seeing that infamous "corn dog" picture in Iowa, no one will be able to cast a vote for Bachmann again without having that image in their mind.

Not even the shark in the "Jaws" movie was able to open his mouth that wide.
