(91 posts)The government there is extremely corrupt. Any money given to it in order to solve the problem will just disappear, and never serve the purpose for which it was given. Any help must be given through non-governmental organizations.

(1,807 posts)Is my math correct?
2,000,000,000,000 ($2 billion) divided by 10,000,000 (population of Haiti) = $200,000 per person?
