Report: Bob McDonnell not invited to CPAC

Source: Politico

Add Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell to the growing number of Republicans who weren’t invited to CPAC.

The Washington Post reported Tuesday that organizers for the annual Conservative Political Action Conference did not invite McDonnell, who as the Post points out has come under fire from his own party for supporting a transportation deal that would also increase taxes.

McDonnell is a potential presidential hopeful — just like another possible 2016 GOP candidate whom CPAC snubbed: New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, who is running to replace McDonnell when his term ends, is scheduled to speak at CPAC, as is 2012 presidential nominee Mitt Romney, 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin and others.

"Winners" only please...

Trump to Speak at CPAC

Chris Christie may not be solid enough a conservative for CPAC organizers, but Donald Trump apparently is.

The real estate mogul will be a speaker, announced the American Conservative Union today.
