Adam Lanza kept spreadsheet of murderers years before Newtown shooting

Source: Huffington Post

New details have emerged in the investigation of the deadly Newtown shooting that suggest the killer fed his obsession with violence by keeping meticulous records about mass murderers for years.

The New York Daily News reports investigators discovered, "a chilling spreadsheet 7 feet long and 4 feet wide that required a special printer, a document that contained Lanza’s obsessive, extensive research — in nine-point font — about mass murders of the past, and even attempted murders."

An unnamed law enforcement source who spoke with the Daily News said the giant spreadsheet was actually a "score sheet" and that Lanza, an avid video game player, hoped his attack would put his name at the top of the list of killers.

To put things in perspective, 7 feet is the depth of the deep end of some swimming pools, and 4 feet is over half the height of most human beings. What's even sadder is that there were 500 names TO add to this list.

I'd bet there are other people out there doing the same thing that we don't know of yet.

he was particularly interested in the Amish one. I'm guessing it's because his intended victims were the same age as the ones in that case.

How sick can you get?

It's sort of like people who run a business just to see how much money they make no matter how many people they hurt. There are such folks. Usually they don't kill with guns.

I'm thinking of cigarette manufacturers, for example.

The ultimate score card. The Koch's wont be happy til they are at the top of that list. And they will bring down the US to do it. And he has plenty of company on that list who are trying to do the same thing. That's why we need to tax them again at 90% on anything over $3 million a year. There is also a movement to tax any wealth over a billion at 100%. I think its called "No Billionaires"

Microsoft Office 2000 Web Components

Now this one is very cool! Technically, it's the easter egg for the Microsoft Web Components, but you access it from an Excel workbook saved as an interactive web page. Requires Excel 2000, the Microsoft Web components, and DirectX.
1.Open a new Excel workbook.
2.Select File * Save as Web Page
3.In the Save As dialog, select 'Publish Sheet' and 'Add Interactivity'
4.Save to an htm file on your hard drive (any file name).
5.Open the htm file with Internet Explorer 5.
6.Select cell WC2000 and scroll the sheet such that cell WC2000 is the first cell on the left. Highlight the entire row.
7.Press Shift+Crtl+Alt and click the Office logo in the upper-left.

Your screen will be transformed into an auto racing game, with developer credits (and other things) visible on the roadway. Use the following keys:
•Arrow keys: to steer and accelerate
•Space bar: To fire at other cars
•O: To drop an oil slicks
•H: To turn on your headlights

-the concept of heaven and hell specifically. Do these people snap because the external coercive force called "fear of God's wrath" has eroded and is no longer able to restrain their psychotic impulses or is it that they believe they are destined for hell regardless and seek some kind of satanic reward for slaying the most innocents?
