Fox News footage flawed: No protest fight charges planned

Dunnings: No charges after Fox News contributor punched during right-to-work protest

LANSING — Ingham County Prosecutor Stuart Dunnings III said he won’t file criminal charges after reviewing unedited video showing events that led to a Fox News contributor being punched during December’s right-to-work demonstrations.

Steven Crowder filed a police report following the Dec. 11 incident at the Capitol, which Michigan State Police had referred to Dunnings’ office for review. The fight occurred amid generally peaceful demonstrations involving more than 10,000 people who had gathered in Lansing that day as lawmakers voted on a package of bills that ban requiring union dues as a condition of employment.

Dunnings said today the first video his office reviewed had been edited. After reviewing an unedited clip, he decided to not pursue the case.

FULL story and video at link.

...as usual.

“It’s pretty clear the person that they wanted to charge was acting in self-defense,” Dunnings said of the union member who apparently slugged Crowder..."

Hiring prostitutes to lie about a Democratic member of Congress, using footage that was intentionally misleading to get rid of ACORN, and now this.

This type of deception should not be permitted in the media. At the very least, it should be labeled "COMMENTARY" since it really isn't "news." Faux News should be held accountable for intentionally misleading people (lying), as should the radio hate jocks and Republican members of Congress.

or so. He's a gifted attorney who became Ingham County's Chief Prosecutor and has done a spectacular job in that office for many years. He's widely respected by the Defense Bar and Ingham County Judges alike. Bratbart can't find a thing on him unless it's totally invented.

some other people criticizing the Union worker before all the facts came out. Why would anybody trust anything from this Republican Party is beyond me after the lie about taking us to War in Iraq and now we know they lied to keep us in Vietnam for political purposes. And by the way, they are lying about Social Security and everything else too. They are this country's problem. Accommodate Boehner and annihilate them. They deserve it.

Just like freaking Pravda in the days of gawdless commie Soviet Russia.

The freaking Republicans are just as false and untrustworthy as the freaking gawdless commies.

As the FACTS make plain.

...May we all live long enough to see a headline in the mainstream press saying "Fox caught lying their asses off, ONCE AGAIN".
