North Korean traffic cop may have saved Kim Jong-un's life

A North Korean traffic policewoman has been awarded the rare 'Hero of the Republic' award, sparking speculation she make have saved the life of Kim Jong-un.

South Korean media suggested that Ri Kyong-Sim may have rescued the North Korean leader from a traffic accident, while others speculated about a possible assassination attempt.

In a brief dispatch, the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) announced that Ms Ri "displayed the heroic self-sacrificing spirit of safeguarding the security of the headquarters of the revolution in an unexpected circumstance."

The phrase "headquarters of the revolution" is often used to refer to the country's supreme leadership.

Ri Kyong-Sim: oh great, here comes fearless leader captain blowhard into my traffic circle. I better keep my smile pasted on.

Un's motorcade slams to a halt. Out steps Un flanked by several body guards. He walks up to Ri Kyong-Sim.

Un: So honorable taffic guard hotstuff, you busy tonight?

Ri Kyong-Sim stunned by the married Un's come-on, corrageously maintains her pasted on smile.

Ri Kyong-Sim: uhhhhh, sure fearless leader...

Out of no where a trash truck moving at the speed of paint drying enters the traffic, it's obviouly no threat to Un. Not knowing what else to do to try and extricate herself from the very awkward situation with Un, Ri Kyong-Sim runs out halfway across the traffic circle, waits a moment for the truck to catch up and than hurls herself in front of the slow moving vehicle while yelling, "I'll save you fearless leader!!!"

Later in the day, the poor unsuspecting trash truck driver was executed for threatening the life of Un.
