Citizens United Part II: Montana Supreme Court Collides With U.S. Supreme Court

The fate of Montana's century-old ban on corporate political spending is now in the hands of the U.S. Supreme Court, setting up a possible sequel to the hotly contested Citizens United decision handed down two years ago.

If anything, I fear this is likely to simply become a second case that the current SCOTUS could point at to say that corporations deserve equal protection under the law along with humans with respect to the First Amendment.

initiating action on this.
One was Oklahoma and I think the other was Missouri.

They are not as advanced as Montana.
Proposal put foward in state legislature to copy Montana.
