CNN Fires Back At GOP Over Hillary Clinton Doc & Debate Threat
Source: Deadline. com (Yahoo News)
CNN says that the Republican National Committee are making premature decisions about CNN Films upcoming Hillary Clinton documentary. The cable news network says the GOP body are also performing the ultimate disservice to voters in threatening to pull out of debates that the network either sponsors or partners on.
The news networks statement today came after the RNC said that it would take a vote next week to pull out of any 2016 primary debates including CNN and NBC over their respective projects about the assumed Presidential candidate. RNC chief Reince Priebus said that the networks were acting as Hillary Clinton campaign operatives in producing the projects. In his letter Monday to CNNs Jeff Zucker, Priebus wrote that your credibility as a supposedly unbiased news network will most certainly be jeopardized by the decision to show political favoritism and a produce an extended commercial for Secretary Clintons nascent campaign.
CNNs doc is scheduled to come out theatrically and hen on the network in 2014. NBC Entertainment boss Bob Greenblatt said on July 27 that the Peacock would be making a four-hour miniseries with Diane Lane starring as Clinton. Check out CNNs full statement on the matter after the jump:

I guess the Bush Gang pissed them off somehow even though CNN was front and centre at "Shock and Awe".
Bush Gang shocked the World alright, but not too impressed by the carnage.
I'm surprised CNN is taking such an aggressive stance, but pleased.
Careful anyone at CNN, NSA is all over you now.
Welkome to Amerika.

(6,539 posts)This was a few years ago and that old GOP hack and head of CBS, Les Moonves, cancelled it. I made it a point to rent the movie. I'll never forget Ronnie telling a GE executive who was going to help him start a new show that his silent partner was the IRS. Here this jackass was making so much money and he still complained that he had to help fund our government and its wars.
