PHILADELPHIA - August 7, 2013 (WPVI) -- A U.S. Airways flight from Ireland made an emergency landing at Philadelphia International Airport on Wednesday after a reported bomb threat.

The call came in around 1:30 p.m. for reports of a suspicious device on Flight 777 from Shannon, Ireland.

I just flew out of Shannon yesterday, but into Newark, not Philadelphia. Freaky, though.

They probably called in the threat just to avoid having to change planes in Atlanta to get to Phili. Ian David Aug 2013 #1

I noticed that it was Flight 777, and immediately wondered how long it would be until somebody tried to tie it in to the 7-7 bombings in London. Then I looked up "777 conspiracy theories", thinking it would be some biblical thing, and it turns out the flight that crash landed in San Francisco had the same flight number. AND today is the 7th, which is the day the government said attacks might happen.

Okay, I'm starting to worry myself a bit. I'd be worried more if I actually believed any of this stuff.
