New accuser steps forward, claims Filner groped her

A 15th woman has come forward, accusing Mayor Bob Filner of sexual harassment.

Kathryn Vaughn, a local attorney, spoke with the News 8 Morning Show Thursday about her encounter with Filner at a public event about a decade ago.

"He came up to me and I had a very uncomfortable moment with him. And at the time, I froze and looked around for my husband and there were a lot of other people in the room," Vaughn explained.

So why hasn't Filner resigned yet?

Vaughn was named Volunteer of the Year by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2010 for her work with San Diego foster youth.

And an unnamed 16th accuser will hold a press conference with Gloria Allred at 1pm PT.

everyone wants to get in on this circus . This way , they get in the news , and maybe in on the money . I find these people disgusting . Anyone can make up a story about " being groped " ( that could mean a handshake , if you twist it enough ) .

Filner would deserve to be tarred, feathered and run out of town.

Regardless, Filner has yet to deny even a single one of the allegations. For heaven's sake, he has sought "therapy" for his behavior and has actually claimed that he wasn't properly trained to prevent his own unwarranted sexual misconduct toward women!

If nothing changes San Diego is going to pay for the defense and prosecution in this case as well as payouts to lawsuits from the aggrieved parties and Filner.
