Minority Students At University of Texas Attacked By An Epidemic Of ‘Bleach Bombs’

On Wednesday, University of Texas student Bryan Davis, who is African American, was struck by a bleach-filled balloon while he was walking to visit a friend in a neighborhood populated by UT students. Moreover, this attack appears to be part of a chain of similar assaults targeting students of color on the Texas campus. Last October, Austin police launched an investigation into four similar attacks on UT students, all of which targeted Asian or African Americans.

Throwing bleach on brown skinned people? Just an escalation of racist ignorance and stupidity that has been a intricate part of amerikkkan culture every since the time of the 'founding fathers'. Cultural? You're goddamn right with some generational thrown in there for good measure.
you are right about the numbers, but my take is there were a hell of lot of those roaches in the woodwork. Always have been there. A white POTUS caused no fear of loss of perceived white male/female entitlement and privilege. A man of color was a nightmare, for them. And that virulent racism is in the halls of power in this country. There was a lot of knashing of teeth that first inaugural ball. I heard it all the way here in the middle of the country. Well every since viet nam, I have one place, as a citizen of this country, no more, no less. Let someone TRY to make me feel inferior or subordinate to them for any reason and there would be trouble. 
so this type of hate will go on for another generation or two or three.......

And I'm reading some empathy on this thread - but it will be interesting to see what direction it takes.

there was empathy/sympathy for the zimPIG on this site, so nothing really surprises me about so called liberals and progressives in these EVIL times in amerikkka and the world.
