Code Pink Interrupts Senate Syria Hearing

Source: TPM

As they are known to do, an apparent member of Code Pink -- the anti-war grassroots organization -- started shouting before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing on military intervention in Syria began Tuesday afternoon.

"We can't afford to have another war! We need health care and education in our country!" the protestor said. "No more war in Syria!"

That being said, they're communist. This doesn't help the case against war in Syria.

and the supporters of the Obama War had better not call me a traitor. I think this Government has betrayed us. Obama hasn't proven anything as far as I'm concerned but being a tool of the neocons, Israeli Lobby, and those religious fanatics using our resources to fight their Wars. They were getting their asses kicked and now came running to their supporters. The only thing I will do is vote them out of office period the next time I vote which includes any Democrat. That is my red line, which they can take lightly or not but I'm hoping a lot more Americans establish it too come the next Elections. We need to clean this Government up. We need to recruit people to oust these people once and for all because they don't take us serious anymore. Obama has won his second term so be it, but I hope the Democratic Party pays severely for it.

It would be better if we had thousands of people interrupting the senate hearing, but I applaud Code Pink for being there and doing the best they can to stop this war hysteria.

I hear Sec. of State Kerry says, "Americans can not be spectators to slaughter!" Does he really think it's better of we become active participants? He of all people should know better.

To paraphrase the Secretary's own remarks at a much earlier Senate hearing:

No one wants to be the first person to die in an American war of choice cruise missile attack.

I never said anything about them being women. It is the methods they use to get attention that lower the level of discourse. If you support that kind of thing (including being rude to Michelle Obama) then it tells me you support mob rule.

They are useful idiots too. I remember Medea Benjamin telling Bill O'Reilly that North Korea did not have nukes, nor did it aspire to have them even after they admitted to having them. She also visited Cuba and claimed their human rights record was better than ours. Lol, fucking goofballs. They are an embarrassment to the left.
