Anthony Weiner gets into angry spat with Jewish voter

Anthony Weiner's support in New York City mayoral polls has been dropping for weeks because of scandal. Now, he's got to contend with a video showing him in a shouting match with an Orthodox Jewish voter.

During a Brooklyn campaign stop Wednesday, Weiner got into an angry confrontation with a voter who called the Democrat a "scumbag" and "disgusting" because of the candidate's sexting habits.

"What rabbi taught you that you're my judge," Weiner can be heard saying on the video captured by Jacob Kornbluh, a blogger who posted the exchange on NYCelects.com.

Ross Barkan of Politicker was there and provided a detailed account of what transpired between Weiner and Saul Kessler, a real estate manager, at a Borough Park bakery. Readers should take note that the exchange occurred hours before Rosh Hashanah. The Jewish New Year begins at sundown Wednesday.

New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner's campaign has released a longer video showing his confrontation with a man at a Brooklyn, N.Y. bakery on Wednesday.

In the 6:38 minute video, Weiner's heckler can be heard saying "married to an Arab" moments before Weiner called him a "jackass." Weiner's wife, longtime Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, grew up in Saudi Arabia.

Blogger Jacob Kornbluh released a 2:19 minute video earlier in the day, which showed Weiner in a heated exchange with the man, who shouted "scumbag" as the former Congressman excited the bakery. The bakery is located in the Boro Park neighborhood of Brooklyn, a heavily Orthodox Jewish area, and Weiner's heckler could be seen wearing a yarmulke.

I'm pretty sure Weiner is done as far as politics go, even if he doesn't know it yet, but he was rightfully sticking up for himself there and that "married to an arab" comment was pure bigotry.
