Economy grew at 3% rate the final three months of 2011

WASHINGTON – The economy grew at a slightly faster pace in the final three months of last year than first estimated, and Americans earned more income than previously reported.

The jobs numbers will be key this week. If we see more strong growth and numbers, this thing could really start rolling.

initial estimate because more data comes in for the last part of the quarter. Sometimes the final growth estimate is higher than the initial growth estimate, other times it is lower. It is not a media conspiracy.
