With the Obama administration reeling over the botched rollout of its signature health care law, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius came to Milwaukee Friday afternoon to highlight ways that people can enroll for insurance coverage under the Affordable Care Act.
During her appearance at the Lisbon Ave. location of Progressive Community Health Centers, 3522 W. Lisbon Ave., Sebelius watched as someone enrolled for coverage and met with a 23-year-old Milwaukee woman who became insured two weeks ago under Obamacare.
She also told the news media that improvements are being made daily to the problem-plagued healthcare.gov website.
She said fewer people are being locked out of the website because of system errors and the site's speed has increased. She said the capacity of the website has to be built up to handle greater volume.
