LEITH, N.D. – Authorities arrested white supremacists Craig Cobb and Kynan Dutton here Saturday after the men walked through streets carrying firearms in the small town they’re trying to turn into an all-white enclave.

Grant County Sheriff’s Deputy John Foss said authorities arrested Cobb and Dutton on Saturday afternoon on suspicion of terrorizing. Foss declined to release further details until formal charges are filed.

Leith City Councilman Lee Cook said he was outside his home Saturday with Gregory Bruce, the city’s website administrator, looking for a location to install surveillance cameras due to concerns for his family’s safety since Cobb moved to town.

Within about 10 minutes, Cobb and Dutton approached them carrying a rifle and a shotgun, staying on the street but coming right up to Cook’s property line, Cook said.

Not that it should work this way, but I suspect most any decent lawyer would have them out on those charges fairly quickly, and they probably won't come to much. I will be surprised if they serve any time at all.

Maybe the town could interview some veterans, offer them free homes if they would support the town and take the opposite viewpoint? Might be cheaper than trying to fight these idiots in court.

Craig Cobb was served notice Thursday that he has 30 days to start complying with new Leith ordinances requiring water and sewer in his house.

Cobb, a hate crimes fugitive who’s attempting to take over the town’s government, said he’ll comply by installing a biological toilet and sinking a pressurized cistern into his dirt-floor basement.

The notice from the city of Leith was served by a Grant County Sheriff’s deputy. Cobb said he ordered the deputy to get off his property after the deputy told him to turn off a recording device.

The ordinances were passed by the Leith City Council to control growth in Leith ...

A man who has joined white supremacist Craig Cobb in Leith appeared in Grant County court Tuesday. 29 year old Kynan Dutton is charged with disorderly conduct. During his initial appearance, Judge Donald Jorgenson set bail at $350 cash. The crime is a B misdemeanor.

According to court documents, Dutton disrupted a Leith city meeting in the town hall October 18th. Dutton is accused of repeatedly using excessive vulgar language and wandering around the meeting acting in a threatening manner ... He faces a maximum penalty of 30 days and jail and or a $1000 fine ...

Dutton said he'd conducted his nightly patrol of Leith earlier that evening and because all was quiet, he concluded that nothing would occur.

Instead, Dutton said, five tires on two vehicles were slashed and vandals spray painted obscenities on his and Borgmann's vehicles. Vandals also spray painted the words "back in black" on Cobb's house and the vehicles.

Dutton said he saw three men and a woman jump into a dark blue extended cab pickup and speed off, leaving full and empty beer cans on the property ...
