Birther, Rush Limbaugh fan, busted for threats to kill President Obama

81-year-old Elwyn Nels Fossedal, from Wisconsin, was arrested yesterday and charged with threatening President Obama’s life, according to federal court records. Fossedal was in a post office near his Wisconsin home last month when he announced, “If President Obama was here I would shoot him right there and kill him right now” according to prosectors.
Fossedal is a ‘birther’ and a Rush Limbaugh fan, playing into the myth that America’s first black president can’t legitimately hold the highest office in the land.
Secret Service agents paid Fossedal a visit about about the threat–which was relayed to law enforcement by witnesses– but he “repeated the threat using different words. He also made a number of additional threats towards the President,” according to a felony complaint.
The Smoking Gun reports, “A Secret Service investigation determined that Fossedal’s wife Margaret Ann–to whom he had been married nearly 57 years–died in early-October and that “he is displacing his grief on her loss with anger towards” Obama and other public officials being protected by the Secret Service.”
Which brings a whole new issue to ‘Blame Obama’ with.
According to an investigator, Fossedal “is proficient in the use of various firearms.”

He needs a psychiatric evaluation and someone to check him for dementia intead of jail time. Since the Secret Service put this in their statement, it's likely he'll get treatment for his mental disorder.
It's also a sign the agents are smarter than average and compassionate. They are seeing the mental carnage first hand from right wing hate radio.
By the way, I see nothing wrong with the printed shirt, it's colorful and he has a great smile there. He is surrounded by the momentos of his life which he no doubt saw as symbols of his hard work and honor. On that day, he was in his home with his wife who loved and respected him.
No doubt this is not his current condition now.
His wife was likely the only person who took care of him. She made him happy, now he's old and alone, looking for a reason to escape his loss and get some justice for what he considers to be unfair.
Rush and the other right wing hate mongers prey on those who feel they are being left behind, that their lives no longer matter, and they look for a reason. Some of that part of life is just part of geting older. And I wonder if she died from being denied health care when it would have helped.
What a miserable situation.
This is not the same as the guys who call for people to assassinate Obama all the time and make money trolling for Infowars, JBS, Tea Party, etc. He's approaching the end of his life in the worst possible way.
