George Zimmerman won't be charged in domestic dispute, prosecutor says

Source: CNN

Florida prosecutors will not charge George Zimmerman after a domestic dispute with his girlfriend last month, State Attorney Phil Archer said Wednesday.

The decision not to pursue the case comes days after Zimmerman's girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, said in a court document that she didn't want him to be charged

According to a sheriff's office report about the incident, Scheibe said that after an argument, Zimmerman broke a table with a shotgun and then pointed it at her "for a minute."

In the court document filed this week, Scheibe accuses authorities of pressuring her. "When I was being questioned by police, I felt very intimidated," she said. "I was not allowed to call an attorney nor was I allowed to eat or drink anything for a very long time."

She should be charged, and held for her own safety. And the thought of a little Zimmerman running around is frightening.

This guy is an habitual asshole. That surely should be against the law, don't you think?

And the girlfriend is a lying bullshitter--she called the cops, they didn't call her.

They would still need to actually break an existing law and at the same time be observed by law enforcement officials.

I will bet you anything they have been talking, and she just wants to reverse herself because she is somehow having "victim's remorse".

I heard that 911 tape. Her statements where clearly spontaneous and truthful in real time. She was not "pressured" on anything.

It's too bad, but this is what happens in too many of these cases. She's obviously screwed up if she would be with this asshole in the first place, let alone if she would go back to him. But she is also a grown adult and can make choices. They deserve each other. Just waiting for the next 911 call about this asshat.

The state still has to prove their case beyond reasonable doubt. Sometimes that is difficult if the victim is uncooperative.

It's just a matter of time and he'll hurt someone bad. When that happens he'll have no record. None of the previous stuff can be brought up. He'll continue to use the Saint George defense.

I am still convinced he will eventually be caught. OJ Simpson was eventually sentenced to justice. The same will happen to GZ at some point. My only fear is he will kill more people before he gets there.

She nailed it as it was going down without holding back. Zimmerman knew how to work her long before he moved in with her. And has been working her all along. She got sucked right back in.
and she will continue to believe his shit untill he is done with her. At that point same as his soon to be x wife-she will see it for what it is.

it's all about understanding how psychopathic predators operate. Although understanding how it is they operate doesn't prepare one for what those predators do and will do because nothing can.

Zimmerman will no doubt be back in the news on some other issue before the years end.

34. The Court Document Was Written By Zimmerman's Lawyer

I would think that law enforcement would be interested in the circumstances under which these meetings took place and whether she had her own lawyer involved. Indeed, it should have been her lawyer rather than Zimmerman's lawyer submitting this document. It almost looks like Scheibe needed to be put under some kind of witness protection program. Zimmerman will do anything to keep his guns. Anything. And high-priced lawyers are waiting in line to make sure that happens.
