Source: Politico

Patrick Murphy, the Iraq war vet and former Pennsylvania congressman, has been tapped to host a weekend show on MSNBC, the network announced this week.

The show, which is called "Taking the Hill," is billed as “a conversation about veterans issues" and “issues affecting the veteran community as they navigate their postwar lives.” It is set to begin airing this Sunday at 1 p.m.

to go for his old seat rather than PA AG. Even with the re-districting, the seat is still swing.

So, whatever.

7. Glad it's the PA one... the FLA one is a DINO

The PA Patrick Murphy may have been a Blue Dog (boooooooo) but I like him anyway. He seems pretty progressive for a Blue Dog.

Patrick Murphy (D?-FLA) was worth electing to get rid of Allen West, but they should really be looking for a real democrat for that seat down there. Florida Patrick Murphy is just an opportunistic republican.

10. Blue Dog and "progressive" don't ever belong in the same sentence

Blue Dogs have that moniker precisely because they are not progressives.

As some point, when viewership plateaus, where's the crossover?
