NH Lawmaker: Armed Uprising Possible If Scott Brown Elected

One New Hampshire lawmaker is willing to go to extremes to prevent former Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) from exerting his influence in the Granite State.
Republican state Rep. JR Hoell told conservative blog Granite Grok that if Brown answers the call of Republicans trying to draft him into running against Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), "firearms and ammo" may be necessary to protect the state from what he called Brown's "RINO," anti-gun policies.
"Were not here to threaten anybody," Hoell said in a podcast. "Were here standing on our soapbox, as opposed to standing with our ammo box in hand, to make a point politically. The message needs to get out that Scott Brown does not represent New Hampshire."
The lawmaker was referring to a gun owners' rally scheduled to take place across the street from a New Hampshire GOP fundraiser Thursday in Nashua, which Brown is expected to headline. Hoell cited Brown's support for a federal assault weapons ban while he served as a Massachusetts senator as evidence he doesn't represent the interests of the state.

Scott Brown Plans To Move To New Hampshire
DANIEL STRAUSS DECEMBER 16, 2013, 2:47 PM EST
Former Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) has found a buyer for his home in Wrentham, Massachusetts and plans to move to New Hampshire, further fueling rumors that he plans to run for Senate in the state.
Andrew Glincher, the managing partner and chief executive officer at Nixon Peabody LLC, confirmed to Bloomberg News on Monday Brown's moving plans. Glincher said that because Brown is not licensed to practice law in New Hampshire he will continue working out of the law firm's Boston office.
Brown's decision to move is one of the biggest hints he's made so far that he plans to run for Sen. Jeanne Shaheen's (D-NH) in New Hampshire.
Brown is scheduled to appear at the New Hampshire GOP's annual holiday party on Thursday. A pro-GOP super PAC has also recently begun urging running "Draft Scott Brown web ads.

Even so, I hope Jeanne Shaheen, warts and all, wins reelection next November.
