Inland (California) Obamacare enrollment jumps

Source: Press Enterprise

The number of Inland residents enrolling in medical plans under Obamacare has more than doubled in the past month, according to state figures released Tuesday, Dec. 17.

In the first two months of the program, a total of 9,882 people in Riverside and San Bernardino counties enrolled in health insurance plans through Covered California. That’s a jump of 7,032 individuals in November alone.

Of those enrolled, 8,817 people — 89 percent — are eligible for federal subsidies to help cover their premiums, Covered California officials said.

Almost 21,000 people in the Inland counties have started applications since open enrollment began Oct. 1; 8,483 people filed between Nov. 1 and Nov. 30.

Even Republican areas of California are experiencing a surge in enrollment. Nonetheless, the MSM has been either ignoring this surge or trying to frame it in a negative light.

Even though I was about 9 or 10, I still remember Baseline Rd. and Waterman Ave.

Can't forget trips to Lake Gregory either.

Hope this area can make a comeback. Desimated by housing crisis.
