Phil Robertson defender Sarah Palin admits to not having read his interview
Source: Yahoo
After Phil Robertson, the patriarch of "Duck Dynasty," made controversial remarks about homosexuality that were published in GQ magazine, former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin spoke out in his defense.
However, when asked by Fox News host Greta Van Susteren if Robertson's remarks were offensive and whether or not she had any objection as to how he worded his comments, Palin said she didn't know what Robertson had actually said, Politico reports.
I havent read the article. I dont know exactly how he said it, Palin explained on Fox Newss On the Record With Greta Van Susteren" on Monday.

(4,490 posts)I'm hardly a McCain fan, but I'm still a little shocked he picked someone so blatantly unintelligent. She's an idiot, even when compared to many of her fellow right wing nuts. I guess it was a desperate sexist/racist decision for a campaign that knew they didn't have much chance, get a an attractive woman on the ticket to counteract the black guy. At least we got some funny Tina Fey sketches out of it, but I wish she would just disappear...

(719 posts)Another would be a cynical and mistaken attempt to scoop up the disaffected Hillary voters in '08. Cynical because, in general, a woman who would vote for Hillary Clinton would never vote for Sarah Palin simply because her gender was right; mistaken because Sarah Palin was and is such a huge skidmark in the underwear of American politics.

(8,127 posts)im sure her ego is plenty strong enough to venture out on another humiliating campaign...
but the question is...
is anybody else willing to help her do so?
from all I can tell, she was a terror to campaign staff in 2008...
id say itd take a bit of money to get a staff on board that ship.. cause its sinking before it even leaves the dock... lol

just thought the same thing before I read your post. She may just be the most annoying person ever. My husband hits that remote in a nano-second if she happens to pop up somewhere - that voice kills him. Though fortunately, she's been seen much less than before. (64,951 posts)There is nothing new about the fact that Sarah doesn't read. The topic really doesn't matter. Everytime she says something it should be considered a fait accompli that she hasn't read a single thing about it. Or heard any facts she actually remembered.
