US lashes 'Israel comment' on John Kerry

Source: BBC News

The US has condemned as "offensive" reported comments by Israel's defence minister about Secretary of State John Kerry's Middle East peace initiative.

State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said the alleged comments by Moshe Yaalon were "inappropriate" given America's support to Israel's security.

Mr Yaalon was earlier quoted as saying Mr Kerry was acting out of "misplaced obsession and messianic fervour".

If he had either, or both of those, he would be president today.

attention to more than the GOP and media memes, he would have just finished his second term now.

As for messianic, the last thing I want is a messianic politician. Most of the time, this is a very bad sign for the future,

All I've seen in the news from them in the past 10+ years is unfettered criticism and complaints...

One high-ranking official or another is saying something like this almost weekly...

Follow the money.

Fear is a big business, and AIPAC leverages that to generate billions in funds.

It seems like an odd choice of words, but I'm not sure why it is called "offensive".
