HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) A state judge has struck down the law requiring Pennsylvania's voters to show photo identification at the polls.

The decision paves the way for an expected appeal to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Republicans approved the law over the protests of Democrats.

(6,719 posts)And never stop watching. We must be vigilant and let people know we are watching. Take five minutes to write to your state Repub party and tell them people have the right to vote. It takes a lot of letters to get their attention. But we can do it!!

I'm pretty sure the SSC had already heard the case and sent it back to Commonwealth Court for a more extensive trial.
