'Do not drink' advisory lifted for last W.Va. water customers

Source: CNN

(CNN) -- West Virginia American Water lifted the "do not drink" order for all water customers Saturday, but pregnant women were advised they should continue drinking bottled water for the time being.

After discovering chemicals had leaked into the water system January 9, the company started testing and had been giving customers in nine counties the go-ahead to drink water on a zone-by-zone basis. On Saturday, company spokeswoman Laura Jordan said the advisory had been lifted for all customers.

But many people are unconvinced the water is safe.

"If they're saying that they don't want pregnant ladies to drink the water, hey, I'm not going to drink it," Larence Armstrong of Nitro told CNN affiliate WSAZ. Armstrong said he and his wife, Cindy, will keep drinking bottled water and showering with a garden sprayer until they're sure the water is safe.

That many of the search and rescue dogs that were used at Ground Zero were dead within a year or so of their service.

are you trying to insert some anti government talking points as if government involvement was the problem with the water there?

nice try, though it won't be working this time.

Why are you attacking professional inspectors? You know something they don't? Nice try, your stuff won't be working this time.

YOU were the one who attacked me when I pointed out it was state inspectors who gave the all clear. It was not the company as the poster I was replying to said it was. I have no idea what YOUR agenda is. Why were YOU trying to take their side? The posts speak for themselves.

that's a bald faced lie. i didn't attack inspectors, i didn't even criticize them. you just completely made that up for what reason, we don't know.

now since you can't tell the truth, i'll just assume that the reason is because to win or advance whatever agenda you're working on here, the truth simply won't effectively convince people and advance it.

Where are the protestors in the streets in W.VA?

Load up a tanker full of this safe drinking water and take it to your legislators. Set up a stand outside the state house, give it away - Free W. VA Safe Drinking Water-

WTH, is everyone asleep up there?
