LINCOLN Democrat David Domina launched a broadside against big corporations on Tuesday, arguing that they cost the nation jobs and dry up competition.
The newest candidate for Nebraska U.S. Senate seat also argued that huge corporations dont pay their fair share of taxes.
We must break them up, not let them break us down, said Domina, 63, a trial attorney from Omaha who most recently represented three landowners opposed to the controversial Keystone XL pipeline.
Domina officially entered the U.S. Senate race, surrounded by about 50 friends and supporters in the State Capitol, including Lincoln Mayor Chris Beutler. He entered the race to the delight of Nebraska Democrats, who have been looking for more than a year for a candidate to run for the seat currently held by retiring Republican U.S. Sen. Mike Johanns.
