Gov. Chris Christie booed by Times Square crowd at Super Bowl event

Source: New York Daily News

Christie, whose state is hosting the big game Sunday, was twice booed when introduced on Saturday amid the scandal surrounding his administration. Meanwhile, the New Jersey governor reportedly sent an email to supporters ripping David Wildstein, the former Port Authority official claiming Christie knew of the George Washington Bridge lane closures as they happened.

The once-immensely popular New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was booed twice Saturday at a Super Bowl event in Times Square.

It was a tough thing for a Jersey guy to hear: Boos rained down Saturday on Gov. Chris Christie like he was wearing a Tony Romo jersey.

The once-immensely popular Christie, his glow lost to scandal, sat stone-faced as he was razzed in Times Square for a typically upbeat Super Bowl event.

“You made it across the bridge?” howled one heckler as the problem-plagued Christie — in a navy Windbreaker and black scarf — sat impassively on the stage at Broadway and W. 43rd St.

I must admit - in the beginning- I thought Gov. Christie would weather this storm. But now that is looking ever increasingly unlikely

If it were your brother in law. Good on him he got that in there, and Christie was left with NOTHING.

A speechless blowhard.

pretty tolerant to many things, but if this is true, they will dump all over him if he did orchestrate this or had selective amnesia it will be seen as disloyalty. I find it interesting to see him getting back some of his loud mouthed bullying tactics thrown back at him. What goes around comes around.

The thing I find crazy about all of this is WTF was the lane closing supposed to accomplish. Only democrats use bridge lanes. This, has to go into the Guinness records of Stupidity.

ripping Wildstein.

The Politico story is fairly predictable but I swear out of the 1100 comments below the story on Politico, at least 1099 of them for some reason mention:

A guy named Barry???
Some lady named Hillary???
Something called Fast and Furious???
A country called Kenya???
Something about the IRS???
And almost every single one mentions some guy named Ben Gazi??? who dat???

It was weird because I thought the comments were gonna be about the Governor of New Jersey and all his current problems.

Must be those danmed hackers mixing up the comment sections over at Mike Allen's shithole!!!

Thank you very much!!!

So the Governor of a state that shares the busiest bridge in the world which was shut down
on orders from his office did not know about the shut down for 4 days? The people of NYC
and New Jersey are not stupid.

But when Zimmer stepped forward with not just charges but documentation to back them up Christie then faced an uphill battle. This latest from Wildstein's attorney just adds to his task.

Bullies never handle their fall well.
The thing is Christie knows that he knew and he knows he'll be caught on at least one of his scandals.
It's hard to remain upbeat given what's coming.
