Two people died in a shooting at the Benjamin Moore warehouse in Vancouver on Monday.
Kim Kapp, spokeswoman for Vancouver police, said officers were dispatched to the warehouse, located at 1800 W. Fourth Plain Blvd., about 11:30 a.m. When they arrived, they found one man dead in the warehouse.
They searched the property, looking for the gunman, and informed nearby Fruit Valley elementary, which went into lockdown.
Officers found the suspect dead in a car on the warehouse property. Kapp said the victim and the suspect knew each other, but gave no details. She said described the shooting as "workplace violence."

(949 posts)wow.....I used to live in Vancouver, WA in the 1990s, and I know the area of 4th Plain Blvd; it's across the train tracks, and there is (or was, I don't know if it's still there) a Quik-Stop Minit Mart closeby. Not far from Fruit Valley Rd.

(5,376 posts)I have close family in Vancouver. Why do these things keep happening?
I know--there's no answer. Blessings to those involved and all who are affected by such a horrific event.
