Woman Derails GOP Town Hall Going Off on Why Obama Needs to Be Executed

Source: Mediaite

A recent Republican town hall got thrown a little off-course with something rather outlandish proposed by a member of the crowd; this time a woman who used her opportunity to talk at Congressman Jim Bridenstine‘s town hall about why President Obama “should be executed as an enemy combatant.”

The woman called Obama “moron” and a “criminal” who is acting wholly without authority and “nobody’s doing anything” to reign him in. There was some awkward laughter as she brought up the execution of the president, and Bridenstine brushed past it to keep going after Obama on his lawlessness in bypassing Congress.

Notice in the video at the link that Bridenstine, a first-term teabagger from Oklahoma, does not condemn her remarks or take issue with them in the slightest, but simply moves along by feeding her more paranoia about takin' yer guns away and UN takeovers.

Expect Boehner, Cantor and the Republicans to denounce his response a week from never

I'm actually surprised some of those folks can actually feed or clothe themselves, with such ignorance. They keep belching back up everything FoxNews feeds them. As their numbers dribble away, so too will their ability to thwart national elections and reasonable thinking in government. I think the tide has already turned for them, but it is sad to see the displays of stooopid so pronounced and in such vivid color. These attitudes belong back in the black and white days of yesteryear, where they should be quarantined for good.

Sometimes I think their orgasmic hatred of Obama is the only rise these folks ever get and they have become addicted to the adrenaline rush of anger they get when they are poked incessantly by the lies at FoxNews. Not only is FoxNews f*cking over their brains, they are sharing a cigarette with them afterwards.

Its not just fox news. You will notice that the editorial pages in virtually every newspaper is mostly tea party style offerings. There are radical right wing radio talkers on every station along with the nationally syndicated whack jobs. The assault on America is non stop. 24/7.
I know people who wholly buy it. One person I have known all my life is holding his daughter out of school. The entire family endorses this because they are now 'anti-public education !
All of them , publicly educated themselves. Its an upside down world when perfectly healthy people actually believe these that Bengazi is a scandal.
Hell right now, a couple tea party congressman actually have filed impeachment charges against the president. They want to impeach him so bad , they cant get a reason so they said what the hell just file the charges and our people will be happy. Their people are the KOCHS.

It was accepted as another, 'valid', point of view, and the serving congressman used it to say that 'everyone' knew Obama was 'lawless', and to introduce his own nutjob United Nations conspiracy theory. I don't think the laughter was 'awkward'; more like "well, someone's said what a lot of us think". Worryingly, he is on the Committee on Armed Services and Committee on Science, Space and Technology. This idiot has influence over the US armed forces. And he's a bald-faced liar:

Bridenstine stated that the remarks of others should not be attributed to him.

"A public figure cannot control what people say in open meetings. I obviously did not condone and I do not approve of grossly inappropriate language," Bridenstine said in a statement. "It is outrageous that irresponsible parties would attribute another person's reckless remarks to me."

However, those misguided remarks about being an "Arab" were tame in comparison, and McCain to his credit actually interrupted her to set the record straight. The big difference between now and then is that the unhinged rhetoric is no longer being challenged by the elected representatives who are present, lest they be perceived as being "soft on Obama". This is particularly dangerous because the implied unspoken message is that all the hate-filled accusations must be factual, because they are not being challenged by a "responsible" member of Congress, who had just thrown them handfuls of red meat with claims of "lawlessness" and "imperial rule".

This crazy woman also said that Obama was flying muslims into the country. When I heard that, I thought....oh yeah? Where are these muslims coming into the country? Maybe Tulsa Intl Airport? I haven't seen a mass exodus of muslims coming into the country. And even if there were a lot of muslims, that doesn't prove that Obama was personally escorting them here or that these people are a threat to anyone since not all muslims are radical!

Yesterday on Rev Al's show he read a statement from Bridenstine's staff that said something like....of course Bridenstine does not agree with the woman. But that was not clear since right after the woman's statement (in the video) he said something like....everyone knows Obama has become lawless.
