Nugent Apologizes for Using Term Subhuman Mongrel

Source: CNN

CNN) - Conservative activist and rocker Ted Nugent apologized Friday for using the term "subhuman mongrel" to describe President Barack Obama.

"I do apologize–not necessarily to the President–but on behalf of much better men than myself," he said in an interview with conservative radio host Ben Ferguson, who's also a CNN political commentator.

Glad you're here! And you're correct. That was no apology. If this weasel were any kind of real man, he would man up and apologize to the President. Instead, his shameless and predictable default is a bunch of antics with semantics. Unless you rethink it a little and realize he actually did apologize - or maybe that's how we should characterize it, just to get his goat. "You did apologize, chump-change. I just received an e-mail from the Texas Democratic Party

Once again, Abbott is giving Texas voters reason to doubt him.” -- Dallas Morning News Editorial

Dear -------

It's your turn, Greg Abbott.

Last night, Governor Rick Perry said, "I have a problem" with Ted Nugent calling the President a "subhuman mongrel."
Senator Rand Paul tweeted, “Ted Nugent's derogatory description of President Obama is offensive and has no place in politics. He should apologize.”

Ted Cruz said he didn’t agree with Ted Nugent’s sentiments, “You've never heard me say such a thing, nor would I."
And just moments ago, Ted Nugent finally apologized to the President for his disgusting remarks.

Greg Abbott, it's time to admit you made a mistake and apologize to the people of Texas.
Republicans are feeling the heat, and we can't back down now....

Thank you --

In theology there is the term "invincible ignorance". Now, for sane rational people the frustration of dealing with such individuals, or being constantly reminded of their continuing presence is annoying.

The press is guilty of being lazy, and fond of obnoxious dolts (particularly of one end of the political spectrum). Worthwhile reporting takes effort. Management and the establishment generally favor that same end of the political spectrum.

But it does seem that the carnival freak show of contemptible Republican jerks is never closed.

Ted Nugent Hasn’t Apologized for Calling Jewish Figures ‘Subhuman’ and Nazis

In a more-than-technical sense, Ted Nugent really hasn’t apologized for calling President Obama a “subhuman mongrel,” but the rock dinosaur and Call of Doody champion hasn’t even feinted at an apology for slurs he’s made against at least two prominent Jewish public figures.

In January, days before his comments about the President, Nugent called movie mogul Harvey Weinstein a “subhuman punk,” and compared him to Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels — the same comparison he deployed on Wolf Blitzer this week.
